Ramandeep Singh has emerged from Punjab’s rich white-ball ecosystem as a multi-dimensional T20 cricketer. The 28-year-old all-rounder offers a strong package: a middle-order batter capable of accelerating on demand, a handy seam-up option, and a sharp presence in the field. He began his TATA IPL journey with Mumbai Indians in 2022, but it was at Kolkata Knight Riders where he truly made his mark. In KKR’s title-winning 2024 campaign, Ramandeep played a crucial finishing role, striking at an exceptional 201.61 and consistently delivering quick runs in pressure situations. That breakout season earned him a maiden India call-up, featuring in two T20Is against South Africa in December 2024. Recognising his value, KKR retained him ahead of the 2025 auction. While he couldn’t quite replicate his 2024 returns, Ramandeep has remained in the national radar through consistent appearances for India A, and he will be a key aspect of the KKR squad again in 2026.
